8M Construction Digest has prepared a series of articles on “Do it yourself” to lead Ugandans and Africans to starting or expanding production and manufacturing industries. We have done this by liaising with the many Ugandans, professionals, academicians and the business communities, who actually know, trade or use the various materials to make better products and services. We shall also liaise with organizations with special expertise such as UNIDO to assist in this quest.

Our objective is to explode ideas that will improve something, particularly enlightening the youth and the business community how manufacturing and production industries work, whether on a small or large scale. We then hope that their understanding will motivate them to invest in and build the same industries, thus industrializing and modernizing the nation.

These series will be dedicated to His Excellency the President, Mr Yoweri Museveni; the Minister of Trade, Industry and Cooperatives, Hon Amelia Kyambadde; and all others who support development through manufacturing, production and industrialization. Furthermore, we dedicate the column to Eng Peter Balimunsi, commissioner for industry in the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Cooperatives. With his role for promoting industrialization, he is the small cogwheel in the big chain that must never break if the chain is to work. With similar sentiment, we dedicate the series to Eng Dr Charles Kwesiga, the executive director of the Uganda Industrial Research Institute (UIRI).

Look out in our next series for:

  • Do it yourself: The Concrete Block Making Plant
  • Do it yourself: The Refractories Making Plant
  • Do it yourself: The Wall Tile Making Plant
  • Do it yourself: The Ceramic Tableware Making Plant
  • Do it yourself: The Sanitaryware Making Plant
  • Do it yourself: The Plastic Construction Products
  • And others, as per public demand.

We call upon the supportive business community, individuals and organizations to forward any relevant information to add to what we have, and above all, to advertise alongside this page or sponsor the information.

If these are lacking in your personal statement for a residency program, then you can write essay for money as well bid acceptance into the program goodbye.
